The Olivers, married for 35 years, have conducted marriage conferences, retreats, and relationship seminars around the world. They have hosted numerous television programs and authored curriculums for conferences, articles and columns for magazines, book chapters, and books.
Since 2010, Willie and Elaine Oliver have directed the Department of Family Ministries for the Seventh-day Adventist Church worldwide. Thus they travel extensively. They also produce and host a weekly family program on Hope Channel called Real Family Talk with Willie and Elaine Oliver.
Willie Oliver holds a PhD in Family Sociology, and master’s degrees in Pastoral Counseling and in Sociology. Elaine Oliver holds master’s degrees in Counseling Psychology and in Higher and Adult Education. She is currently pursuing a PhD in Educational Psychology.
