 Personal Ministries Personal Ministries at Triadelphia Church
Triadelphia members and friends are encouraged to discover and develop their talents and spiritual gifts to better serve the Lord through service to others. There are many service opportunities within the church—assisting and greeting in the parking lot or at the door, sharing musical talents, technical skills, maintenance skills, cooking and serving fellowship meals, working with children and youth, teaching adult Bible classes, visiting the homebound or preparing and shipping “care packages” to college students are just a few.
Our personal ministries extend to the community through volunteering in public schools. Howard County Public School System has approved Listen magazine for use in all middle and high school health classes to empower youth to live healthy, drug-free lives. We provide 30-35 subscriptions to each accepting school, sponsor River Hill High Post Prom Party and support Howard County Drug-Free with a $2500 donation and a young person on the HCDF council.
Partnering with area churches expands service opportunities. Atholton Adventist Church cold weather shelter for the homeless, Linden-Linthicum United Methodist Church joint marriage enrichment weekend, Fireproof Your Marriage date nights and Vacation Bible School would be examples.
Active participation in community service groups such as Adventist Community Services and Rotary provides expanded service opportunities.
Many Triadelphia members enjoy door-to-door Christmas caroling in the community, having a part in the July 4 Parade or conducting vegetarian cooking classes and health improvement programs. Our hearts and hands are open to serve locally or internationally.
