Family Life
Family Life is a very important part of the Triadelphia Church. It's focus is the relationship between husband and wife, and with children in the family. Activities include getting together as couples in different ways and finding practical solutions to family problems.
Last February, Triadelphia Church, in partnership with the Linden-Linthicum Methodist Church from the Clarksville community, met together for a couple's retreat with the title of “Inmates or Intimates.” Staying over in a nice hotel were 24 couples enjoying each other, learning better ways to communicate, and fellowshiping together. The presenters for the program were Mike and Brenda Aufderhar.
After the retreat, the couples decided they wanted to continue to meet for fellowship. They enjoyed a movie together at the Triadelphia Church Fellowship Hall. It was called “Fireproof” and its main purpose was to help couples find ways of relating to each other in better ways. Then the couples followed that up with 6 small-group sessions on Saturday evenings.
Another retreat is in the planning stages for this coming year. Watch for updates on these plans.
